Display Ads Turned Apps. Adgregate Marketplace
-
- Adgregate Markets is a CPA marketplace like Commission Junction, but is revolutionary because of the rich display ads it supplies.
- AM provides rich display ads that are capable of displaying product and handling transactions all through the ad, keeping users on the site.
- Publishers can join the affiliate network, embed the display ads (more like apps), and receive a commission each time a transaction is completed.
- The question which was never posed by the panel today, was that unlike other CPA networks, these ads require a considerable amount of space. So much that publishers may want to charge high rates for the display ad as well as rev share on the product. Sounds expensive.
- We will get a word on this with the CEO tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Update: Just spoke with CEO Henry Wong, who said that in some instances, placing these ads will be potentially very expensive for advertisers considering the amount of space they take up as well as having to pay out a rev share. They want to partner with publishers who see this CPA network as potentially paying out more than what they would make on a traditional display ad. They will take it on a case by case basis. Thanks for clearing that up Henry.
